• 17 years as Exploration & Production Engineer.
• PhD In Engineering, BSc. Economics, Madrid.

A chemical engineer and metallurgist with profound knowledge of many areas of the oil industry.

• Worked at Repsol for 13 thirteen years where he served as Director of Heavy Products and Director of Crude Oil at Repsol YPF, and Director of Crude Oil for 11 years at Repsol Petroleo, SA.
• Previously worked in senior management positions, as Managing Director of Bomar Oil, and as the Director of Crude and Chartering for five years at Explosivos Rio Tinto, as well as periods at Petronor and Rio Gulf de Petroleos.
• Current lectures in oil related subjects at several prestigious academic institutions throughout Spain.
